<p>By now, you&#8217;ve probably heard the news that University of Central Florida has forfeited the remainder of their sponsorship deal with adidas because of Marcus Jordan&#8217;s decision to wear his Js, therefore failing to honor to their contractual agreement.</p>
<p>The Los Angeles Times has certainly made<a href="http://www.latimes.com/sports/la-sp-random8-2009nov08,0,6679931.story" onclick="urchinTracker('/outgoing/www.latimes.com/sports/la-sp-random8-2009nov08_0_6679931.story?referer=');"> their opinion on the subject</a> known, but there are several things to consider here:</p>
<p>Were adidas&#8217; actions too stark?</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">Is this an elaborate and predetermined PR strategy for Brand Jordan for which the public is having one thrown over their eyes?</p>
<p style="text-align: center;">I wonder&#8230;</p>
<p style="text-align: left;">I mean, it&#8217;s not like a member of the Jordan family hasn&#8217;t been reprimanded for sneaker rebellion before:</p>
